5 WINTER 2014 are working to enhance and strengthen our communities. For whatever reason we have not been very active in point- ing out many of the good things in which we are constantly engaged. The American Bankers Association has provided us with a tool that can help with that. It’s called Amplify and my counterpart from Indiana, Joe DeHaven, provides a great description of it on P. 19. Save the Dates I would be remiss if I did not point out some of the events and activities the AzBA is bringing you in the first part of the year. On February 6, 2014 we will have our annual Banker Day at the Capitol followed by dinner and drinks at Lon’s with American Bankers Association president and former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating. On February 24, 2014 we are partnering with the Philadel- phia Federal Reserve Bank’s Global Interdependence Center to bring an Economic Summit of the Americas to Phoenix. And in early June we will be back at Enchantment in Sedona for our 111th Annual Convention & Meeting.
