12 www.azbankers.org B ANKERS FROM ACROSS THE STATE GATHERED AT THE STATE CAPITOL IN FEBRUARY TO MEET WITH THEIR LOCAL LOCAL LEGISLATORS AND MEET WITH KEY ARIZONA POLICY MAKERS FOR THE ANNUAL “ARIZO- NA BANKER DAY AT THE CAPITOL” Bankers werea able to attend meetings with State Treasurer Jeff Dewit, Senior Staff from the Governor’s Office, Chairmen of the House Banking and Commerce Committees as well as key legislative members that sit on the House and Senate Banking Committees. In addition to meeting with policymakers, bankers were able to in - teract with regulators on emerging State and Federal banking issues. Representatives from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the Office of the Comptrol - ler and the Arizona Department Financial Initiations were on hand for the annual “Meet Your Regulators” meeting co-hosted by the Arizona Bankers Association and the Arizona Department Financial Initiations And the day was capped with the Annual Banker Day Dinner. This year’s dinner included key notes from Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich and Former Vice-Chairman of the Federal Reserve and current Chair of Princeton University’s Economics Department - Dr. Alan Blinder. w AzBA Banker Day at the Capitol 2017
